ORO: Revenge of the Moon

Character and background design for a personal project, an animated series based on pre-hispanic Muisca culture.

Plot summary:
El Dorado, a magic parallel world linked to ours, is under serious danger. Its ruler and guardian, the legendary Zipa, is about to die. That is why a new lord must be chosen and the only way to do so is to celebrate a mystic ritual the ancient Muisca tribe used to do.

Meanwhile, Chía, muisca goddess of the moon, will take advantage of the current situation to take revenge on all those who betrayed and condemned her to illuminate the nights. She will bring chaos and destruction not only to El Dorado, but also to our modern world.

Camila, a pretty average girl who will interact with a powerful key muisca relic and Uba, the Zipa apprentice, will face gods and men to protect the resources and richness of both worlds.
